Nick Greyno is a results-driven strength and conditioning coach with over a decade of experience helping athletes push beyond limits and rise to the demands of elite performance. From NCAA Division I athletics to Olympic development and professional sports, Nick has trained and mentored competitors at every level — from high school prospects to NFL draft picks and Olympians.


Grounded in a relentless standard of discipline, detail, and execution, Nick founded Live Free Performance to deliver elite, intentional training to those who are serious about unlocking their full potential. His mission is simple: build athletes who move better, compete harder, and perform at the highest level — both physically and mentally.

My career has been built on delivering tailored, high-performance training environments that meet the specific demands of each sport and individual athlete.

    I have consistently developed All-Americans at the highest level of collegiate athletics, NFL, MLS, and Olympic-caliber athletes by creating systems that bridge the gap between strength, speed, and sport-specific performance. My programming doesn’t just build stronger athletes; it produces game-changers who dominate their positions and excel at the next level.

  • Sport Science Leadership at the University of Maryland
    I served as the sport science lead for Maryland’s women’s lacrosse and field hockey programs — both nationally competitive teams with championship expectations. In this role, I designed and implemented comprehensive sport science strategies, including GPS tracking, workload monitoring, force plate assessments, and readiness protocols to optimize performance and reduce injury risk. I worked closely with coaches and athletes to translate complex data into actionable insights, ensuring that every decision was driven by objective performance metrics.

  • Biomechanics and Movement Specialist
    My programming is grounded in an advanced understanding of biomechanics, movement quality, and injury resilience. I don’t just train athletes to work harder — I train them to move smarter. Whether improving linear speed, change of direction, or maximizing force production, I apply a science-backed approach to help athletes develop efficient, repeatable, and sport-specific movement patterns.
